LOCATION:

Property address is 1531 Beck Rd.  Take Hwy 59 south from Goliad for 1 mile. Take a right at the intersection of Hwy 59 and FM 1726. Proceed approximately 2.8 miles to Beck Road and take a left on Beck Road for .09 miles to the southeast corner of the ranch. Staying on Beck Road, the main entrance is another .06 miles.

 

DESCRIPTION AND IMPROVEMENTS:

The perimeter of the ranch is completely fenced. Most of the fence is in new to good condition with the exception of a small portion of older but functional fencing. There is almost 1 mile of paved road frontage and access is excellent from Goliad and Hwy 59.

The ranch has a rolling terrain and is mostly covered with big oak trees, mesquite and native brush.  There are miles of roads and trails throughout the entire ranch.  Several cleared food plots are on the property along with two wide senderos at the headquarters.

The septic system was installed when the building was constructed.   There is a good domestic water well on the property.

WATER:

In addition to the domestic water well on the property, three earthen tanks have recently been cleaned and expanded in size that should fill with future rain periods. One of these ponds can be viewed from the front porch of the living quarters of the barndominium. With the installation of a small amount of poly line, water for this pond could be provided from the domestic well on the ranch.

RECREATIONAL USE:

This ranch is enrolled in the MLD Wildlife management program and had been managed for several years. There are Deer, Turkey, Morning Dove, Whitewing Dove, Hogs, Quail,  bobcat and coyote.  The deer stands and feeder will remain with the sale of this ranch.

AGRICULTURAL USE:

With the fencing already in place, this property can be used for ranching.
